Nurse Office Visits
The services provided at our facility are aimed to assist individuals in disease prevention and education and promote healthy lifestyles in our community.
Registered nurses are available from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, by appointment, unless otherwise listed. Services provided by a nurse include:
- Foot care/assessments
- Immunizations
- Injections per doctor’s orders (no allergy injections are given)
- Medication set-up per doctor’s orders
- Suture removal per doctor’s orders
- Tuberculosis testing and management
- Blood pressure screening
- Blood glucose screening
- Head lice screening
- Hearing and vision screening
- Pregnancy testing
- HIV, Hep C, and sexually transmitted disease testing

Affordable and confidential testing for sexually transmitted infections is available through our office. Testing may cost up to $60, according to the test conducted. Call to schedule an appointment or walk-in from 8:30 to 11 a.m. on Tuesdays. Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health tests for five sexually transmitted infections:
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhea
- Hepatitis C
- HIV
- Syphilis
Services Available
Health Tracks is a preventative health program for newborns, children, and young adults through age 20 who are enrolled in North Dakota Medicaid. Each child will have a health assessment completed by a nurse.

Depending on the age of the client, Health Tracks provides a variety of services including:
- Intake of comprehensive health history
- Hearing and vision screening
- Developmental testing
- Speech evaluation
- Mental health assessment
- Fluoride application
- Orthodontic referral
- Review and update of immunization status
- Complete physical assessment
- Education provided per age on overall health, nutrition and safety
- Lead and hemoglobin screen
Screening Schedule
Health Tracks screenings are recommended at the following ages:
- 2-5 days old
- 1 month
- 2 months
- 4 months
- 6 months
- 9 months
- 12 months
- 15 months
- 18 months
- 24 months
- 30 months
- Every year from age 3-20
