
Bismarck’s Environmental Health Division licenses and regulates Lodging Establishments within the corporate limits of the City of Bismarck. Lodging Establishment include: hotels, motels, resorts, a building or structure that is used to provide sleeping accommodations to the public for charge. Lodging establishments do not include Bed & Breakfast – which are licensed with the North Dakota Department of Health, Division of Food & Lodging.
Lodging Establishments that offer food to the public or have a swimming pool/hot tub, must apply for separate food and public swimming pool licenses.
