The Forestry Division's 3 full-time Arborists are responsible for the care and maintenance of trees growing on land owned by the City of Bismarck, including the:
- Roughly 22,000 street trees lining approximately 350 miles of public streets
- Five fire stations
- Law enforcement center
- Water plant
- Wastewater treatment plant
- Water and sewer utility stations
- City landfill
- Public Works facility
- Veterans Memorial Public Library
- Municipal Airport
- Civic Center
- City / County Office Building

Bismarck Park District Trees
The Forestry Division helps manage the trees on approximately 6,280 acres of land owned by the
Bismarck Parks & Recreation District as well as other Park District facilities including:
- 40+ miles of Recreation Trails
- 48 Parks
- 3 Swimming Pools
- 3 Public Golf Courses
- 2 Ice Arenas
- Outdoor Archery Range
- Horse Arena
- Dakota Zoo
- General Sibley Park & Campground (138 Acres)
- Capital Racquet & Fitness Center
- Parks & Recreation Administrative Office Building
