4. ADOPT-A-ROADWAY APPLICATION
6. The City of Bismarck appreciates your interest in the Adopt-A-Roadway program.
8. When a roadway is adopted, the City will erect a sign at each end of the adopted section of the roadway, or if only one side of the roadway is being cleaned, the sign will be erected at the beginning of the section. The sign will display the Group's name or acronym. The adoption period is for a minimum of two years. Groups will adopt a section of roadway normally one to six miles in length.
10. Litter collections are done a minimum of once a year during the timeframe of May 1 through September 30, and any other times that the group deems appropriate. Litter pick up is permitted in the ditches only and groups are encouraged to recycle appropriate materials for their own benefit.
12. If you would like to participate in the program, please complete the application below. Once we review your application, we will complete the agreement and forward it to you for signature. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Public Works at 701-355-1700, option 3.
