[ARCHIVED] Public Comment Opportunity for 2019 Updates to MPO's Title VI/ADA Plan

The Bismarck-Mandan MPO (MPO) invites public comment on the updates made to its Title VI and Non-Discrimination / ADA Plan.  Comments will be received until 5:00 pm on Friday, July 12, 2019.  The updates consist of the inclusion of the MPO's FY2019 Goals and Accomplishments and also modifications to the Socio-Economic maps in the document which depict potential impacts resulting from projects programmed within the MPO's 2019-2022 Transportation Improvement Program.

The purpose of the Title VI and Non-Discrimination / ADA Plan is to identify the MPO's responsibilities in complying with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related regulations and statutes; the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; and/or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; and with all related regulations and statutes.  The purpose of the public comment period is to provide an opportunity for public involvement in reviewing the proposed modifications to the Title VI and Non-Discrimination / ADA Plan.

Written comments may be submitted to the Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization and must be received no later than 5:00 pm, Friday, July 12, 2019.  All comments should be directed to Kim Riepl, MPO Transportation Specialist and may be mailed to PO Box 5503, Bismarck, ND  58506-5503, faxed to 701-222-6450, or emailed.
