The City of Bismarck is seeking sealed bids for the sale of a 48-inch by 48-inch Hydro Gate HG561 Fabricated Stainless Steel Slide Gate, with an estimated value of $14,000.00. Sealed bids for the gate will be received in the office of the Public Works Director of Utility Operations, until three (3:00) o’clock p.m. CST, Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and reviewed at four (4:00) o’clock p.m. CST, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

 The sealed bids must be mailed to the Public Works Utility Operations at PO Box 5503, Bismarck, ND 58506 or otherwise deposited with Public Works Utility Operations, 601 South 26^th St, Bismarck, ND 58504, prior to the deadline, and shall be sealed and endorsed “Bid to Purchase Hydro Gate”.   

 Bids must be submitted on blanks furnished by the City of Bismarck. Copies of blank bid forms may be obtained from Public Works Utility Operations, 601 South 26^th Street, Bismarck, ND 58504, 701-355-1700, option 4, or via email to . The equipment can be viewed by appointment only.  

 The right is reserved to hold all bids for a period of forty-five (45) days, to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities or to accept such as may be determined to be in the best interest of the City of Bismarck.

2. Bids may be rejected if they show any alteration of form, additions not called for, conditional or alternate bids, incomplete bids, or irregularities of any kind or if they contain a clause in which the bidder reserves the right to accept or reject a contract awarded to him. Bids in which the prices are obviously unbalanced will be rejected.

3. The equipment is sold as is, where is, and does not include warranty of any kind, express or implied. Bidders are responsible for inspecting the property prior to submitting a bid.

4. Bidder is responsible for pick-up of the equipment. The right is reserved to cancel any and all awards under this letting for the failure to pick up equipment within forty-five (45) days of notification due to priorities or any other reason.

5. Bids shall be submitted on the bid forms furnished by the City of Bismarck.

6. Payment must be received within 30 calendar days of notice of award.
