Dear Residents,
We’re pleased to share that East Century Avenue, from Centennial Drive to Roosevelt Drive, is now fully open to traffic. Vehicles are flowing smoothly on the newly constructed concrete roadway, and pedestrian access has been restored across all sidewalks and crosswalks. Our primary goal was to complete this section before the start of the 2025–2026 school year, and we’re proud to report that this milestone has been successfully achieved.
Progress on Remaining Work
Significant strides have also been made on the east end of the project:
- Underground utilities are approximately 95% complete.
- Grading work is actively underway.
- Concrete paving has been finished from the 52nd Street intersection to roughly halfway toward Roosevelt Drive.
- Additional concrete paving is scheduled for this week and next.
- Asphalt paving on 52nd Street is planned for later this week.
On Track for Completion
The project remains on schedule and continues to show excellent progress. We anticipate completion within the originally projected timeframe.
