Bismarck Fire Department Responds to Garage Fire
BISMARCK, ND—The Bismarck Fire Department extinguished a garage fire at 2124 E Divide Ave in Bismarck this morning.
At approximately 1:38 AM on Thursday, May 30th, 2024, the Bismarck Fire Department received a call for smoke coming from a 9-unit row of garages at 2124 E Divide Ave. Bismarck fire crews were dispatched to the scene.
Firefighters arrived at the scene at approximately 1:41 AM to find a row of garages with smoke coming out of the eve on the end unit. Firefighters were able to quickly open the two south-end units and found a fire burning on the common wall and ceiling. The fire was quickly extinguished and the rest of the garage doors were opened to ensure the fire had not extended to any other units. Overhaul was then conducted to find any remaining smoldering materials.
No injuries were reported to occupants or firefighters. The fire is under investigation.
