Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:
• Request of RBK Ventures, LLP for approval of a zoning change from A-Agricultural zoning district to the Conditional MA-Industrial zoning district and a major subdivision final plat for RBK Ventures Second Subdivision, a 1-lot subdivision on 19.2 acres. The property is located northeast of Bismarck, east of US Highway 83 and south of 71st Avenue NE, east of North 19th Street (Auditor’s Lot B in the NE¼ less RBK Ventures Subdivision, Section 10, T139N-R80W/Hay Creek Township).
• Request of Five Star Storage, Steve Mariner and Art Mariner for approval of a zoning change from the CA-Commercial zoning district to the PUD-Planned Unit Development zoning district for Lots 2-4, Block 1, Northridge Estates Commercial Park, less the portion taken for right-of-way. The property is located north of Bismarck, along the east side of North Washington Street and the north side of ND Highway 1804.
• Request of Dan Rhoden and Invesco Holdings, Inc. for an auto-laundry facility/car wash to be located on Lot 4D of Lot 4, Block 1, Meadowlark Commercial Sixth Addition. The property is located in north Bismarck, north of 43rd Avenue NE, between North 15th Street and North 19th Street, along the north side of Skyline Boulevard.
• Request of the City of Bismarck for approval of a zoning ordinance text amendment relating to the keeping of chickens. The proposed amendment would revise existing ordinances related to the keeping of chickens on rural residential lots outside the city and propose regulations for the keeping of chickens within the city.
At these hearings, the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will provide an opportunity for all interested parties to be heard with respect to these items. The City of Bismarck is encouraging citizens to provide their comments for these items in writing or via e-mail.
