[ARCHIVED] Bismarck City Commission to hold public hearings

Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck City Commission will hold public hearings on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at 5:15 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:


•    Request of Silver Ranch 19, LLLP and Investcore, Inc. for approval of a zoning change from the A-Agricultural, R10-Residential, CA-Commercial and P-Public zoning districts to the R10-Residential, CA-Commercial and P-Public zoning districts for Silver Ranch Second Addition, a 28-lot subdivision on 26.20 acres. The property is located northeast of Bismarck, on the south side of 43rd Avenue NE (a replat of Lots 1-24, Block 7, Silver Ranch First Addition First Replat, and part of the NE 1/4 of Section 19, T139N-R79W/Gibbs Township).


•    Request of Verity Homes of Bismarck, LLC for approval of a zoning change from an existing PUD-Planned Unit Development zoning district to a new PUD-Planned Unit Development zoning district for Stoneridge Addition Second Replat, a 16-lot subdivision on 1.75 acres. The property is located in northeast Bismarck, west of Centennial Road and north of East Century Avenue, along the west side of French Street (a replat of Lots 1-16, Block 1, Stoneridge Addition First Replat).


•    Request of Chase and Toni Dauenhauer for approval of a zoning change from the A-Agricultural and RR-Residential zoning districts to the PUD-Planned Unit Development zoning district on Lot 1, Block 1, Pat’s Acres and Auditor’s Lots A, B and C of the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 14, T139N-R81W/West Hay Creek Township.  The property is located northwest of Bismarck, west of River Road, along the south side of Burnt Creek Loop.


•    Request of Skyline Properties, LLC for the annexation of Lots 1-3, Block 3, Meadowlark Commercial 7th Addition, along with the west half of the adjacent North 19th Street right-of-way and all of the adjacent Brookside Lane right-of-way not previously annexed.  The property is located in northeast Bismarck, north of 43rd Avenue NE and east of US Highway 83, between Brookside Lane and 57th Avenue NE, along the west side of North 19th Street.


At these hearings, the Bismarck City Commission will provide an opportunity for all interested parties to be heard with respect to these items. Due to ongoing public health concerns related to COVID-19, the City of Bismarck is encouraging citizens to provide their comments for these hearings via email. The comments will be sent to the City Commissioners and included with the minutes of the meeting. Please submit your written comments by 3:30 p.m. on the day of the meeting and reference the specific item your comment addresses, including the agenda item.  


Citizens may also appear via video or audio link for a 3-5-minute comment on any of these public hearing items by providing an e-mail address and contact information via email at least one business day before the meeting.
