Starting 9:00 A.M., Monday, August 17, 2020, 7th Street south of Boulevard Avenue will be reduced to one lane southbound to Avenue C.
Traffic will begin to encounter the lane reduction transitions on State Street north of Boulevard Avenue. The double left turn lane on Boulevard Avenue to travel south on 7th Street will be reduced to one left turn lane. The inside lane reduction will continue west on Boulevard Avenue and then south on 7th Street.
The reduction in lanes on 7th Street will allow the contractor to connect new residential services across 7th Street to the new water main.
No detours will be in place.
Traffic will experience long delays during peak hours and are asked to plan ahead and seek alternate routes.
This lane closure will be in place through Friday, August 28th the end of the day.
