Bismarck Fire Department responds to a fire involving two vehicles.
At approximately 3:25 AM on Tuesday, June 23, the Central Dakota Communications Center received a report of two vehicles on fire at the 2100 block of East Rosser Avenue. The Bismarck Fire Department was dispatched to investigate. The first arriving fire crew reported two vehicles that were fully involved. The fire crew established command, pulled a fire line and started to extinguish the first vehicle. An additional fire crew arrived on scene and started to extinguish the second vehicle, and protect neighboring vehicles from fire spread. Once the fire was extinguished, an overhaul operation was conducted to extinguish any remaining smoldering material, and a fire investigation was initiated.
Three fire department apparatus and 9 firefighters were dispatched to the scene. The Bismarck Police Department assisted with scene control. Metro Area Ambulance was on stand-by for medical support. Both vehicles were unoccupied at the time of the fire.
There were no injuries to first responders. Fire damage was limit to the two vehicles involved. The cause of this fire is under investigation, and has not yet been determined.
