[ARCHIVED] Bismarck offers residents free disposal at landfill April 20-25 in lieu of Spring Clean-up week

The Bismarck City Commission approved a request from Public Works Service Operations at their regular meeting April 14, to cancel Spring clean-up week in an effort to protect their workforce from exposure to COVID-19. “This will allow us to continue to provide essential services to the citizens of Bismarck throughout the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Jeff Heintz, Director, Public Works Service Operations.

Instead of Spring Clean-up week this year, Bismarck residents who display their recent 2020 water bill will have free disposal at the City landfill to dispose of their items during the week of April 20-25, 2020, from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday – Saturday.  On-line customers can print off their recent utility bill and use it as proof of residency at the landfill.
