In recognition of Human Rights Day, December 10, 2010, Mayor John Warford, has signed a proclamation designating this day in the City of Bismarck as a day of recognition of Human Rights as a common standard of achievement. Human Rights Day recognizes the promotion of universal respect for and observance of human rights and fundamental freedoms.
