The City of Bismarck Street Department continues with the city-wide street sweeping project. City crews will sweep streets in the areas listed below. Crews will continue this schedule, weather permitting, until all residential streets are swept.
Residents and businesses are reminded not to rake or blow leaves or grass into the street. Grass clippings plug our storm water system; please keep grass clippings out of the gutter line and street. Residents may take grass/leaves to the yard waste sites or place the bags out for collection.
Residents are asked to move vehicles and trailers off of city streets before the sweepers are in their area. If sweepers have already been in your area, do not rake the sand from your boulevard into the street. Please rake the sand into a box and set it out for trash collection or take it to the landfill.
Sweeping Schedule:
Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Area 5: Boulevard Avenue to Main Avenue and East City Limits to West City Limits.
May 1 - 6
Area 6: Century Avenue to Interstate 94 and State Street to West City Limits.
May 7 - 15
Area 7: North City Limits to Century Avenue and East City Limits to State Street.
May 18 - 22
Area 8: North City Limits to Century Avenue and State Street to West City Limits.
