[ARCHIVED] Bismarck Fire Department Responds to Apartment Fire

The Bismarck Fire Department was dispatched at 10:55 am this morning to a fire located behind an apartment building at 103 Bismarck Expressway. When fire crews arrived on scene three garage units were on fire. Crews were able to distinguish the fire within 15 minutes. Three units were damaged by fire and four units had significant smoke damage for a total of seven affected units.

Residents were evacuated from the apartment complex for a short time as a safety precaution and were able to return to their apartments. No residents will be displaced. The Fire Department is investigating the fire. The cause of the fire or a damage estimate has not yet been determined.
