City of Bismarck Garbage and Recycling (green route) will be collected on Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday, Monday, January 16th and the landfill will be open from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. City Offices will be closed on the holiday. Garbage and recycling will be collected as normally scheduled the week of January 16-19.
Garbage and Recycling containers may be set out the evening before the collection day. Garbage and recycling must be set out by 6:00 am on the collection day. Crews will not return to an address where garbage and recycling were not out in time for the initial collection.
Landfill Hours
Monday - Saturday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
