City of Bismarck offices are closed today due to the impacts of a winter storm that has affected the community most of the week.
As of midnight, the National Weather Service reported that Bismarck had received a total of 17.5 inches of snow. Public Works Service Operations snow removal equipment operators were pulled from the north side of Bismarck overnight due to visibility issues and moved into the remaining residential areas. Equipment operators are still working 24 hours a day, concentrating on Emergency Routes, and will move into other major arterial streets again when possible.
The Bismarck Veterans Memorial Library is also closed today but has digital resources available 24/7.
The City of Bismarck shares its information through its website and social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
