Washington Street will be closed at Wachter Avenue beginning at 1:30 pm today. Billings Drive and Munich Drive will be closed at Washington Street.
This portion of Washington Street is being closed while crews begin assembly of pumps and hose to pump the Wachter drainage ditch. The street will remain closed until further notice.

Detours are as follows:
• East and westbound traffic will be rerouted to Wachter Avenue. Access to residential areas will be available through Wachter Avenue.
• Southbound traffic will be rerouted to University Drive.
• Normal routes will be open for traffic south of the drainage ditch.
Bismarck Parks and Rec has also closed the walking path from third street west to Riverwood Golf Course.
