At 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad will be working on the railroad overpass at Washington Street. Due to this work, Washington Street will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A detour will be in place. Southbound traffic will follow the detour route of east on Broadway Avenue, south on 3rd Street to Front Avenue, and then west back to Washington Street. Northbound traffic will follow the detour route of east on Front Avenue to 3rd Street, north on 3rd Street to Broadway Avenue, and then west back to Washington Street.
