The City of Bismarck Street Department will begin sweeping residential streets on Monday, April 18th. Residents are asked to move vehicles and trailers off of city streets and clean their boulevards before the sweepers are in their area. Residents may rake sand (not grass or leaves) from their boulevard into the street.
If sweepers have already been in your area, please rake your sand into a box and set it out for garbage collection or take it to the landfill.
Sweeping Days & Times Monday – Thursday from 5:30 am to 10:00 pm Fridays from 5:30 am to 4:30 pm
City crews will continue this schedule, weather permitting, until all residential streets are swept. It will take approximately 2 to 3 days in each area. Crews will be sweeping residential streets in the following order:
