Starting at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, August 28, 2017, the west approach to Divide Avenue at the 19th Street intersection will be closed to through traffic to make connections to a water main. A detour will be in place.
Westbound traffic east of 19th Street will be detoured north on 19th Street to Kennedy Avenue, then west on Kennedy Avenue to 17th Street, and the south on 17th Street back to Divide Avenue.
Eastbound traffic west of 17th Street will be detoured north on 17th Street to Kennedy Avenue, then east on Kennedy Avenue to 19th Street, and then south on 19th Street back to Divide Avenue.
Traffic needing to access Simle Middle School from Divide Avenue should use 22nd Street or 16th Street.
Drivers can expect congestion during peak traffic hours and may want to choose alternate routes.
