[ARCHIVED] City Planning & Zoning Commission Public Hearing Notice - June 27, 2012

Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at 5:00 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:

• Request of Global Properties, Alvin Leingang and Arlon Voge for approval of a final plat for Expressway Industrial Park, an 18 lot subdivision on 39.28 acres. The property is located on either side of Yegen Road, between Apple Creek Road and the BNSF railway line in southeast Bismarck (part of Sections 2, 11 & 12/T138N-R80W, Lincoln Township).

• Request of the City of Bismarck for approval of a zoning change from the R5-Residential and RT-Residential zoning districts to the R5-Residential zoning district on Lot 10, Block 11 and the North 3 feet of Lot 6 and the vacated Owens Avenue adjacent, Block 12, Jennings Second Addition. The property is located in along both sides of North 8th Street north of Divide Avenue.

• Request of Arnold & Luella Gomke and Wayne & Nila Kilber for approval of a zoning change from the RM30-Residential zoning district to the R10-Residential zoning district on Lots 1-6, Block 1, Imperial Valley Subdivision. The property is located along Princeton Avenue at the intersection of Burleigh Avenue and South 12th Street.

• Request of Ron Knutson, Attas Boutrous and Sand Companies, Inc. for approval of a Land Use Plan amendment for part of the East 1/2 of Section 17, Hay Creek Township to extend the mixed-use land use classification approximately 1,635 feet to the south to the southern edge of Good Shepherd North Addition. The property is located along the west side of North Washington Street approximately 1/2 mile north of Ash Coulee Drive/43rd Avenue NE (4916 North Washington Street).

• Request of Ron Knutson, Attas Boutrous and Sand Companies, Inc. for approval of a zoning change from the conditional RT-Residential zoning district to the PUD-Planned Unit Development zoning district on Lot 1, Block 1, Good Shepard North Addition. The property is located along the west side of North Washington Street and the north side of Medora Avenue (4916 North Washington Street).

• Request of Cassandra Goldberg for a special use permit to allow a house previously occupied in another location to be moved onto Lot 4, Block 3, High Plains Country Estates (3801 High Plains Road). The property is located approximately 1/8 mile south of Burleigh Avenue along the east side of High Plains Road.

At these hearings, the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will provide an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard with respect to these items. Descriptions of these requests are on file and may be viewed or copied any working day between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the City-County Community Development Department, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota.
