Beginning Wednesday, July 6, 2011, Bismarck Expressway will be restricted to one lane westbound and eastbound for through traffic from 12th Street to Airport Road for curb and gutter repair and water main valve replacement. The curb and gutter repair is a mobile operation and will progress eastward for approximately the next two weeks. The water main valve replacement will be at various locations between 12th Street and Airport Road. Beginning Thursday, July 7, 2011, the north approach of 18th Street to Bismarck Expressway will be closed for a water main valve replacement. Traffic speeds will be reduced to 25 mph in the area where work is taking place. No detour route will be in place. Truck traffic is advised to use alternate routes. Traffic should be advised of congestion during peak traffic periods.
