Exams are held on the third Thursday of the month at the City/County Building located at 221 N 5th St. Applicants scheduled for the exam must check in at Building Inspections at 8:30 AM on exam day. Testing begins at 9:00 AM. Applicants will have a one hour break for lunch from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

Applicants will need to bring the following:

• State or Federal ID
• $125.00 exam fee

Passing Grades

• Master - 80%
• Journeyman - 75%

Applicants not receiving a passing grade will be eligible to retest after 90 days.
