The Bismarck Police Department Unmanned Aircraft Systems Team comprises skilled officers who have undergone specialized training to operate unmanned aircraft systems, commonly known as drones. This team plays a pivotal role in supporting all divisions of the Bismarck Police Department, including patrol, traffic, and investigative units. Furthermore, they collaborate closely with specialized response teams such as WDST, CNT, and Bomb squads during critical incidents. Led by a dedicated Commander, the team consists of six highly-trained pilots equipped with a range of drones and cutting-edge technology, enabling them to effectively execute their missions.
