Mission

 
The mission of Fleet Services is to provide safe and dependable vehicles and equipment to City Employees and to conserve vehicle and equipment value through a program of inspection, periodic preventative maintenance, and replacement of approximately 753 pieces of equipment, machinery and vehicles for the City of Bismarck.

Responsibilities


13 Fleet Team members provide high quality maintenance support, roadside and emergency repairs, parts, supplies, fuel dispensing and warehouse services.

Fleet Services also manages the motor pool and the City's fueling system which is used by all city departments, including the Fire and Police Departments to ensure fuel supplies during emergency events

The 7 Technicians for the City of Bismarck are responsible for repair and maintenance of snow removal equipment, Street maintenance equipment, refuge collection and disposal equipment, law enforcement and fire vehicles and equipment, as well as all other equipment and vehicles used by the City of Bismarck.
