The City of Bismarck is seeking cost proposals for the collection and disposal of the City’s household hazardous waste. The service agreement will be effective May 1, 2019, through April 30, 2020, with an automatic renewal of two additional one (1) year periods unless either party shall have cancelled the agreement by giving the other party 30 days’ written notice of cancellation.
Proposals for the collection and disposal of household hazardous waste items for the City of Bismarck will be received in the office of the City Administrator until 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2019. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2019, in the 1st floor conference room at City Hall, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota. Any and all service proposal bids received after the deadline will not be considered and will be returned unopened.
Bids shall be made on the basis of cash payment for the work to be done.
Bids must be submitted on blanks furnished by the City of Bismarck and in accordance with specifications and conditions therein contained. Copies of proposal blanks and specifications may be obtained from the Department of Public Works, 601 S 26th Street, PO Box 5503, Bismarck, North Dakota or by contacting Kim Bohrer at either firstname.lastname@example.org or 701.355.1739. Failure to honor a winning bid will result in the loss of bidding privileges for a 3-year period on Household Hazardous Waste bids.
The right is reserved to hold all bids for a period of thirty (30) days, to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities or to accept such as may be determined to be for the best interest of the City of Bismarck.
