The Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public hearing on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 10am regarding proposed amendments to the Bismarck-Mandan MPO 2020-2023 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The meeting will be held in conjunction with the regular meeting of the MPO Technical Advisory Committee in the Bis-Man Transit facility at 3750 East Rosser Avenue, Bismarck, ND.
The purpose of the hearing is to provide an opportunity for public involvement in the review of two (2) proposed amendments to the projects for the 2020-2023 TIP. The TIP includes federally funded metropolitan area transportation projects over a four-year time frame. The proposed amendments are for an increase to the estimated project cost for 19.8 miles of microsurfacing on US Highway 83 in project year 2021 and for the removal of a bridge deck overlay project on Interstate 94 from the year 2022 project list.
