[ARCHIVED] Bismarck-Mandan MPO Seeks Consultant to Develop a North Mandan Subarea Study

The Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) hereby requests proposals from all interested and qualified engineering and planning firms desiring to develop a North Mandan Subarea Study.

Written proposals should address (at a minimum) the following items concerning the firm:
1. Past performance
2. Ability of professional personnel, including project understanding
3. Willingness to meet time and budget requirements
4. Location
5. Recent, current, and projected workloads of the persons or firms
6. Related experience on similar projects

The MPO reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received. The MPO reserves the right to limit interviews to three firms, whose proposals most clearly meet the RFP requirements. The selection of the firm will be based on an evaluation of the written proposals and oral presentations before a selection committee. The selection committee will then forward their recommendations to the Bismarck-Mandan MPO Policy Board for their consideration. Final scope and price will be negotiated with the successful firm following the selection process. If unable to arrive at a mutual agreement with the first ranked firm, then the Bismarck-Mandan MPO will negotiate with the next ranked firm.

A Request For Proposal, with a Scope of Work and detailed project requirements will be sent to interested firms for this project. Written proposals from qualified consultants must be received on or before 4:00 p.m. Central Time, July 23, 2012.

Please submit six copies of your proposal to:
