Better Bismarck

Better Bismarck is a pilot fundraising effort serving as a way for Bismarck to address some of the root causes of crisis homelessness: addiction and mental health. The City of Bismarck with local businesses and associations is facilitating this campaign that does not use taxpayer funds.

To donate, simply text BetterBis to 801801. You will receive a link to the donation page where you can customize your gift. You may reach the campaign donation page online. Donations are tax-deductible.

Donations made in 2022 were matched dollar-for-dollar by funds the City received from multi-district litigation related to opioid manufacturers and distributors.

If your organization would like to participate in the Better Bismarck campaign, contact City Administration at (701) 355-1300 for more information about signage and options for how your organization can collect money to be donated.

Funds collected by this community-sponsored campaign will be available to area organizations through a transparent application process. The application process will be conducted in 2023.
