Load Permitting Procedures

To help expedite review and authorization of excessive loads, a form for application to move over dimension/overweight loads is available on the City of Bismarck website. 

Download the form, complete form with all the information, Fax or Email back to the City of Bismarck: (bisengd@bismarcknd.gov) subject line “Traffic Section”. To process the permit, all information must be completed: length, width, height and axle weights. Incomplete forms will not be processed. The City of Bismarck will review and respond within 24 hours after receiving the properly completed form.
