Welcome to the library, a full-service municipal Library directly handling the needs of Bismarck and Burleigh County residents. As a member of Central Dakota Library Network (CDLN), we offer direct access to materials and resources in libraries throughout Burleigh, Morton, McLean, Mercer and Oliver Counties.

CDLN has a collection of more than 560,000 items, including books, audio books, DVDs and music CDs. Bismarck Public Library patrons also have access to eBooks, digital audio books and many online resources.

The library provides public access computers and wireless Internet access. The library also has children’s, teen, and adult programming including story times, computer classes and film events.
