Hands on activities and demonstrations such as creating plastic bottle bird feeders and tree cookie necklaces, the chance to win a ride to school in a public works vehicle, snow plow blade decorating, snow plow art displays by Century and Legacy High School students, automated vehicle location (AVS) and (UAS) drone demonstrations, snow plows, construction equipment, emoji activities, a visit from Forrest Von Flickentale, a water analytics demonstration, free water sample pH testing, an opportunity to see how salt water beet juice brine is made, & more! The celebration event has something for everyone – adults, kids, and families with lots of activities for all. Everyone is invited and welcome to attend. Static displays of equipment will be located on the south side of the parking lot and parking will be available on the north side of the parking lot. Rain or shine the event will take place. In case of inclement weather, all activities will take place inside the public works building.
